Kevin Doyle
Board Member
Kevin Doyle is the Vice President of State Affairs for HBW Resources which is a national public affairs consulting firm. Kevin Doyle is also the Managing Partner for Wexford Strategies, a business development and government affairs consulting firm which has offices in Jacksonville and Tallahassee. Kevin also serves as the Vice President of State Affairs for Consumer Energy Alliance, advocating for affordable and reliable energy policy throughout the United States.
He recently concluded a three-year term as the Chairman of the Board of Directors for CareerSource Florida, the state government’s workforce development agency after serving a total of nine years as a Board Member. Kevin also serves on the Board of Directors for Enterprise Florida, the state’s economic development agency as well as on the Board of Directors for the Florida Chamber of Commerce. He was recently named the Director of the American Energy and Environment Workforce Institute which is administered by the Consumer Energy Education Foundation based in Houston, Texas.
Kevin served as State Director for U.S. Senator Mel Martinez. As State Director, Kevin was the senior staff member in Florida where he was responsible for briefing the Senator on all state issues and state policy initiatives as well as manage six state offices throughout Florida. Kevin served as the Senator’s Regional Political Director during his 2004 election.
Kevin has also lived and worked in Washington for six years where he worked for the Bush Administration as the Deputy Director for the 21st Century Workforce Office in the U.S. Department of Labor. Prior to that he worked at the White House in the Office of Presidential Personnel and also worked on Capitol Hill. On the Hill, he was the Administrative Director for the U.S. Congressional Joint Economic Committee under the leadership of U.S. Senator Connie Mack.
Kevin has also worked as a consultant for the New Zealand National Party in Wellington, New Zealand. Before arriving in Wellington, Kevin worked for the Speaker of the Florida House of Representatives in Tallahassee, Florida. He has also worked at national political campaign headquarters both in Washington, D.C. and in London, England.
Kevin is from St. Augustine, Florida and was a student at the University of North Florida where he graduated with a degree in Political Science. He also studied abroad in Madrid, Spain and Moscow, Russia. He and his wife and daughter live in Northeast Florida.
